Big 5 Focus Safari
The greatest joy and fulfillment of being on safari comes after spotting the infamous Big 5 animals. Indeed, an attraction for many safari seekers today, the big 5 namely, Rhino, Elephant, Leopard, Lion and Buffalo were the most sought-after animals for trophy hunters as well. Their categorization as “Big” 5 is not by size, but rather this referred to the difficulty in hunting them and their dangerous nature. Today, anyone going on safari wants to see the Big 5. This 11-day safari takes you to the best of Kenya’s national parks where your chances of completing Big 5 sightings are higher. At the end of your safari, a beach stay has been added so you can relax and unwind before heading back home.

The Masai Mara is synonymous with the Great wildebeest migration. After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring the mighty mara river. To reach the grasslands of the Mara, they must risk their lives crossing the Mara River, where famished crocodiles wait in the swollen waters. After nervously milling about on the banks, it takes just one wildebeest to leap in, and then the herd follows in a cacophony of grunts, thundering hooves and splashing water. The Mara River Safari route has something to see in each season. In the seasons when the migration is not in Kenya, you will look for the river’s inhabitants; hippos and Nile crocodiles as well as the crossing points used by wildebeest. Full day game drive with picnic lunch in between. Dinner and overnight at camp.
This day is planned with your guide based on your month of visit and the season of the wildebeest. The day may be different than the description.
