Murchison Falls National Park

Murchison Falls, located near Lake Albert in north-west Uganda, provides the setting for a traditional savannah safari with the familiar characters of elephant, hippo, buffalo, and giraffe, as well as lion, leopard, spotted hyena, and the occasional cheetah. The Victoria Nile, which divides the park into northern and southern half, is the source of the park’s most famous attraction, the Murchison Falls. The river tumbles through a 7-metre-wide rift to form a stunning cascade, making river cruises a must-do experience on a Murchison Falls safari.
